My Stepdad Made Killer Bread

Dave was my step dad for 2 years or so, but I’m not sure he and my mom ever legally married. He had an eBay “business” but mostly got high and noodled on his guitar in his “office” (an Amish Barn tool shed in the yard he ran power out to). When he would brag to my high school friends that he once jammed with Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad I would pray they wouldn’t ask “who’s Mark Farner?” because we would all then get a lecture and be forced to listen to most of side one of “E Pluribus Funk.” He smoked American Spirit cigarettes because they were the “healthy ones” and his Facebook page (which I unfollowed after Trump) was mostly memes about bacon and/or bourbon and posts declaring that his photos were his sole property. When he passed away a few years ago I drank a “Twisted Tea” in his honor but couldn’t get through it.
